The Role
As a Circuit Designer II, you play a critical role in delivering a seamless customer experience by designing reliable, efficient circuit paths across the company's network. You translate customer requirements into scalable network solutions, leveraging network architecture, routing configurations, and established design standards to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
In this role, you are accountable for developing precise design layout records that reflect a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio and technical specifications. You ensure every design aligns to product criteria and fully satisfies the scope of work, contributing to high-quality service delivery and overall network performance.
Location

This is a work from home position within the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Efficiently design and process customer orders using multiple design systems to meet SLA, quality, and performance standards.
  • Manage and prioritize assigned queues, tasks, and assignments to maintain service level objectives.
  • Communicate order status clearly and promptly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply proficiency in complex provisioning requirements including dark fiber.
  • Provide technical support for engineering, installation, and testing of transport facilities and access circuits.
  • Drive and ensure on-time completion of customer and network orders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide support and drive process improvements.
  • Validate orders against entrance and exit criteria to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of wave products, network elements, routing configurations, and design consumption rules.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to established procedures and continuously improve job skills through training and professional development.

Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
