The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to client advocacy, exhibit independent work capabilities, and have a profound understanding of trauma-informed care, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to overcome their life challenges.

About the Organization

At Rising Phoenix Counseling Services, we specialize in trauma-informed care within a supportive community health clinic environment. • Provide counseling sessions—including crisis intervention and bi-weekly check-ins—ensuring continuity of care across the therapeutic process.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems), to address the complexities of trauma.
  • Engage actively in supervision and consultation with fellow counselors to foster a cohesive and supportive clinical environment.
  • Document client interactions accurately in electronic health records, adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge base.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The target population includes adults, children, adolescents, and couples, all facing challenges related to trauma and PTSD. Counselors will work on understanding the diverse experiences of clients, providing tailored support and interventions that promote healing. This role emphasizes creating a safe and trusting environment where clients feel empowered to share their stories and pursue their paths to recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in Oregon is preferred but not mandatory to apply.
  • A strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles, crisis intervention, and mental health best practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with trauma/PTSD populations, particularly in a remote or rural counseling setting.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation and tracking client progress.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic interventions such as EMDR and IFS to assist clients in their healing journeys.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life and accident insurance
  • Retirement plan with employer matching contributions
