• Conduct thorough assessments and develop detailed treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis management strategies, behavioral guidelines, medication treatment plans, and risk assessments.
• Document client interactions and treatment progress promptly and accurately to comply with regulatory standards.
• Employ evidence-based assessment tools as needed to ensure effective clinical practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that effectively address clients' unique challenges.
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating compliance and best practices.
• Serve as a key liaison to service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance service delivery and resource accessibility.
• Facilitate open communication to meet contractual obligations and promote our services and mission within the community.
• Establish partnerships and maintain relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to foster program support and identify new funding opportunities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through attendance at workshops, conferences, and key statewide committees relevant to mental health.
• Embrace and promote the values and principles of Transformative Healing Services in all aspects of your role.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to a collaborative work environment.

This role primarily focuses on individuals seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges, including emotional distress, addiction issues, and developmental disabilities. Our clients range from teenagers to adults, requiring a counselor who is adaptable and sensitive to diverse backgrounds and experiences. The LMHC will play a pivotal role in facilitating recovery and enhancing clients' overall well-being.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Must possess an independent LMHC license issued by the state board.
• Strong ability to maintain clinical records, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Proven capability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making based on established professional knowledge.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills to effectively express ideas and engage with clients and colleagues.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the unique challenges faced by clients in various demographic groups.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and practices, as well as experience with evidence-based therapy modalities.
• Active involvement in the broader mental health care community through networking and professional organizations.
