Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Transformative Healing Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.
• Providing ongoing support and counseling services, including crisis intervention and management of pre-crisis and crisis plans.
• Ensuring timely and accurate documentation that meets all regulatory standards, utilizing electronic health record systems as necessary.
• Collaborating effectively with other team members to develop and implement positive behavior support plans, utilizing evidence-based screening tools to assess client progress.
• Engaging with state agencies, community partners, and service systems to advocate for clients and facilitate access to necessary resources.
• Representing Transformative Healing Services at statewide meetings, task forces, and community outreach events to promote the organization’s mission.
• Participating in ongoing professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and relevant training.
• Adhering to agency values, philosophy, and principles throughout all interactions and work responsibilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on aiding diverse client populations, including adults experiencing emotional challenges, individuals undergoing substance use recovery, and those with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Your work will be instrumental in helping clients build healthier coping mechanisms and supportive relationships while fostering a sense of belonging in the community.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Must hold a valid independent LMHC license issued by the state board.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain detailed clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Proficient in collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to enhance client outcomes.
• Effective communicator capable of articulating ideas clearly and empathetically.
• Strong decision-making skills informed by professional knowledge and ethical considerations.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in an outpatient setting focused on mental health or substance use treatment will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health records and evidence-based practices in mental health counseling will also strengthen your application.

Compensation and Benefits

Transformative Healing Services offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and education. In addition to a robust salary, we provide an extensive benefits package that includes:
