Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing outpatient psychiatric office located in Everett, Washington. In this remote role, you will play a critical part in providing essential mental health services tailored to the unique needs of each client. This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 and a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.

Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible work environment, as you will be working remotely while being connected to our outpatient office in Everett. You will engage with clients via telehealth sessions, minimizing geographical barriers and maximizing access to care. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient demand. The remote model supports a healthy work-life balance while ensuring you remain an integral part of our collaborative care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the impact of medical conditions on patients' mental health and well-being.
  • Design and execute integrated treatment plans that cohesively address both psychiatric and medical issues influencing patients' lives.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet each patient’s specific circumstances.
  • Collaborate with fellow medical providers within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies for improved treatment outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, applying crisis management protocols effectively.
  • Educate clients on the relationship between their mental health and physical health conditions, empowering them to better manage their overall well-being.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of each patient's treatment processes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in regular team meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to promote collaborative treatment planning and case management.
  • Stay informed on the latest research, evidence-based practices, and advancements in integrated care to continually refine your approach to patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with clients who have complex needs, including individuals facing chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. You will assist them in navigating the mental health implications of their medical conditions, enabling them to achieve a higher quality of life while managing both their physical and mental health concerns.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and legitimate licensure as a LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
  • A proven ability to assess and address mental health needs in individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
  • Experience in delivering integrated care and effectively collaborating with medical professionals to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
