ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Analyst, Demand Planning, you will develop and manage demand forecasts across both near-term Sales and Operations Execution and longer-range Sales and Operations Planning horizons. You will serve as a key demand planning partner to the Sales team and work closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and other cross-functional partners to translate customer, consumer, and business insights into accurate and actionable demand plans.

You will develop and maintain forecasts using a combination of shipment history, customer and Sales inputs, promotional and event plans, distribution and item-level trends, marketing activities, and other relevant demand signals. In this role, you will play a key part in creating and managing true consumer demand signals that help align the broader supply chain and support effective business planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own demand planning and forecasting for the assigned portfolio across multiple categories and planning horizons, including near-term S&OE and longer-range S&OP.

  • Lead collaboration calls with key sales accounts to review business performance, forecast assumptions, emerging demand signals, risks, and opportunities, and assess their potential impact on the demand plan.

  • Act as a key contributor to the S&OE process, monitoring near-term demand performance, ensuring forecasts appropriately reflect changes in pacing, customer demand, promotional activity, distribution, and other relevant business drivers, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

  • Participate in Steps 1 and 2 of the S&OP process, partnering with cross-functional teams to incorporate customer-specific insights and trends, promotional plans, distribution changes, new item activity, and other business drivers to develop and align on the total demand plan.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis of forecast errors to identify key drivers of performance gaps and determine appropriate corrective actions.

  • Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives to increase forecast accuracy, strengthen planning processes, and enhance overall planning effectiveness.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting, customer supply chain, or another supply chain-related field.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Demonstrated analytical capability and experience translating multiple sources of data and business inputs into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to present recommendations concisely to cross-functional partners and gain support for consensus plans rooted in data and assumptions.

  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and drive KPI improvement.

  • Ability to analyze incomplete or evolving information, develop reasonable assumptions, and present business cases for action.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced business environment.

  • End-to-end supply chain knowledge and demonstrated ability to make timely, data-informed decisions based on current business assumptions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-time, first-shift position.

  • Regular business hours, Monday through Friday.

  • This role is eligible for domestic relocation.

  • Travel of less than 10% is expected.

  • Remote work is available one day per week following the 90-day onboarding period.
