Job description

The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Platform Capacity Manager is tasked with developing and driving alignment to a rolling 18-month production and inventory plan.  The role will work cross functionally with supply and demand planners, as well as senior leadership in manufacturing, finance, and supply chain innovation, to ensure that their platform plan meets service, inventory, and operating objectives.  This role identifies and communicates supply, service, and cost gaps to IBP stakeholders, and presents their business case and recommendations, using insights from scenario and modeling software.     

This is a hybrid position located in Battle Creek, MI. There may be flexibility for individuals in other remote Michigan locations within driving distance of Battle Creek, MI.  The Platform Capacity Manager will serve in a leadership capacity, driving results within the team and be the subject matter expert for their assigned platform, developing an extensive knowledge of their platform's operation and capabilities. 

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

 

  • Driving the Planning Process - Create and publish planning and inventory views for the monthly IBP cycle.  Play a key part in the monthly/quarterly budgeting, and planning processes. 
  • Performing Business Analytics - Access, analyze, and interpret the platform plan, and understand the impacts to service, costs, and working capital.
  • Providing Leadership - Own and lead monthly strategic alignment meetings with senior leadership.  Ensure cross functional alignment of monthly model inputs.
  • Championing Data - Maintain model and master data inputs to coincide with network capabilities and strategies.  Partner with Continuous Improvement Team to build out improved capabilities and processes.

 

We're Looking for Someone With

  • Understanding of supply/demand planning business concepts, drivers, and key metrics
  • Experience working with inventory planning software (SAP-SNP-Manugistics, etc.)
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (formulas, IF statements, pivot tables, v-Lookups, charts/graphs)
  • Ability to create insights thru data analysis, and provide recommendations
  • Experience effectively managing and influencing people, projects, and programs.

 

Compensation

The annual salary range is $105,200 - $138,100, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
