Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create personalized treatment plans for clients, addressing pre-crisis and crisis situations, risk assessments, and medication treatment strategies.
  • Facilitate timely documentation adhering to strict regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and quality across all clinical practices.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools as determined by the clinical team to monitor client progress and adapt treatment as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement effective positive behavior support plans that are responsive to client needs.
  • Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.
  • Serve as a key liaison with state agencies, community partners, and relevant service systems, advocating for clients' needs and navigating available resources.
  • Establish and maintain open communication channels to uphold contract standards and promote Metro West Behavioral Health’s mission within the community.
  • Network with local, state, federal, and private organizations to identify and cultivate potential partnerships and funding avenues.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training, conferences, and representation of Metro West Behavioral Health at regional meetings.
  • Embody and promote the agency’s core values and principles in all interactions.
  • Accept additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Metro West Behavioral Health, you will work closely with a diverse array of clients, ranging from individuals grappling with mental health disorders to those seeking recovery from substance use challenges. Qualifications
