Job Title: Database Subject Matter Expert (SME) Location: REMOTE Clearance: Must possess an active MBI Clearance (Minimum Background Investigation) and have current GFE (Government Furnished Equipment) Contact: Crystal.dinnocenti@systemone.com System One is seeking a Database Subject Matter Expert to support a major federal enterprise digital optimization and modernization program. The overall mission of this program is to modernize critical legacy tax processing systems to improve user experience, increase regulatory compliance, and reduce reliance on costly, unsustainable legacy technology. REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must possess an active MBI Clearance (Minimum Background Investigation) and have current GFE (Government Furnished Equipment)
  • Experience with methodologies for Java/J2EE, Oracle DB, IBM DB2, SQL, Windows, IBM z/OS mainframe, COBOL, JCL, disaster recovery strategies, and system architecture
  • 6+ years of experience in highly specialized IT disciplines
  • 6+ years of experience in database programming and/or administration
  • 4+ years of experience with IBM DB2 database management
  • 4+ years of experience using IBM z/OS mainframe operating systems
  • Strong understanding of government security requirements
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
