Job description


SAIC has an opening for a HR Services Specialist. The HR Services Specialist is a member of the HR Shared Services team. This role is responsible for ensuring effective execution of various HR transactions, utilizing a variety of systems and tools. The position can be fully remote within the U.S. for the right candidate.
Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and thorough responses to a broad range of HR inquiries in various forms, including email, phone and ticketing system. This may require basic data research to provide accurate responses.
  • Review & approve HCM transactions ensuring they are in accordance with business process guidelines.
  • Manually enter HCM transactions, including employment and personal data changes, leaves of absence, updated credentials, etc.
  • Review daily audit reports to correct invalid data or data combinations.
  • Participates in special projects as assigned.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve goals, including maintaining open lines of communication with other team members and other interested parties
  • Support audit and compliance activities.

Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school with three years of related HR experience
  • Self-starter who excels in both a team-oriented environment and independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ensures accuracy, security, and confidentiality of all employee records and HR data
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • US Citizenship is required
