What this position entails

The Analytics Team delivers impactful data analytics and business intelligence solutions by closely collaborating with all areas within IntelliScript. By partnering with stakeholders, we precisely define our data requirements and provide tailored solutions that drive intelligent decision-making.

We take pride in creating dynamic, user-friendly visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Our team also develops and refines complex data models to conduct comprehensive analyses, uncovering intricate trends and insights. What you will be doing

  • Partner with data engineers, business analysts, and leadership to define data needs and deliver tailored solutions - leveraging automation and GenAI where appropriate to accelerate insight delivery
  • Own analytics projects end-to-end, continuously improving delivery speed, quality, and scalability through automation and thoughtfully applied GenAI
  • Create dynamic, user-friendly visualizations in various BI tools to communicate insights to stakeholders (both technical and non-technical)
  • Conduct in-depth data analyses to identify complex trends and insights, and provide actionable recommendations based on findings
  • Develop and refine complex data models to support reporting and advanced analytics
  • Actively participate in peer reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and shared learning across the team
  • Leverage Databricks, BI tools, and emerging AI-powered capabilities to advance analytics maturity and team effectiveness

What we need

  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end analytics work, with strong analytical skills and sound problem-solving judgment
  • 2+ years of hands-on Databricks experience applying data transformation, workflow automation, data modeling, and reporting in analytics workflows, with a commitment to staying current with Databricks’ evolving platform, including AI- and automation-driven capabilities
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with data visualization software (Power BI and/or Quicksight is a plus)
  • Versatility in using programming languages and modern AI-assisted tools to improve analysis speed, automation, and productivity

This job posting is expected to close on August 30, 2026.  This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events.

Compensation

The overall salary range for this role is $71,700 - $161,575. For candidates residing in:

  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia:
    • $82,455 - $131,905 if overall experience is less than 5 years; and
    • $97,865 - $161,575 for experience greater than 5 years.
  • All other states:
    • $71,700 - $114,700 if overall experience is less than 5 years; and
    • $85,100 - $140,500 for experience greater than 5 years.

A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
