Job description

The Region Data Migration Lead will be responsible for understanding the data definitions and placements decided by the functional team and creating migration requirements from the current local payroll systems (UKG, ADP) to the new global system (Workday). The role serves as the Americas subject matter expert for HR Technology, responsible for supporting, stabilizing and optimizing the region's HR systems. This Region Data Migration Lead requires ensuring data quality in each legal entity (LE) by providing support and maintaining effective communication, ensuring that payroll, benefits and workforce planning systems operate with minimal disruption while supporting the region's transition toward a modernized global HR technology landscape.
This position combines deep operational expertise with strategic transformation leadership. The role partners closely with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning, and HR Operations to translate real business workflows into scalable, harmonized system solutions that align with global Workday design while meeting regional operational and regulatory requirements.
The Region Data Migration Lead plays a critical role in identifying risks early, driving mitigation strategies prior to testing and go-live, and supporting key harmonization decisions that balance global standardization with regional realities. The position also manages operational stability during a dual-system environment supporting the current UKG/ADP ecosystem while enabling the implementation and adoption of Workday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Migration Management: Oversee the existing data migration process from local payroll systems or Excel to the global HCM system across Americas Regional LEs, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of data in each LE by supporting and communicating effectively with local teams.
Project Coordination: Manage and support the data migration process, ensuring that all steps are followed correctly and that the process is executed smoothly.
Stakeholder Communication: Understand and communicate the data definitions and requirements discussed by the global team to each LE, ensuring that the global HR system maintains accurate data.
Data Definition and Creation: Collaborate with global teams to define new data requirements and assist LEs in creating and preparing this data when it is not available locally.
Vendor Collaboration: Lead the project with support from the implementation vendor's Regional team.
Support local entities: Assist local entities in converting current data categories to new definitions and forms. Support the creation of new data items as required by global standards.
HR Knowledge Application: Apply HR knowledge to guide local entities in aligning their data with global definitions and standards.
KEY TASKS
Oversee the regional implementation of the human capital management system, ensuring alignment with global standards and local legal requirements while communicating with LE's HR.
Identify and mitigate risks to project success, providing support and solutions to legal entities as needed.
Escalate unresolved issues to the global team for prompt resolution.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among regional roles such as data lead, functional lead, and integration lead.
Lead change management initiatives within the region to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
Design and deliver training programs to support the implementation and effective use of the new system.
Coordinate with regional HR departments to balance local requirements with global standardized designs, ensuring legal compliance and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Workday and either UKG or ADP platforms, including core HCM and related modules (Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll), with the ability to support, configure, and optimize functionality
  • Experience partnering with global HRIS teams and stakeholders across multiple regions within a standardized global system environment
  • Knowledge of end-to-end HR operations and familiarity with HRIS integrations, system security controls, data governance, and data privacy regulations across regions, with particular knowledge related to the Americas.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives, managing vendors, and delivering HRIS integrations or enhancements on time and within scope
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and ambiguity
  • Demonstrated project management experience. Preferred experience in using tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, orand Nintex
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), with advanced Excel skills and experience in data visualization and reporting
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, consulting, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HRIS and people analytics experience supporting complex, multi-module, global HR systems
  • Solid understanding of HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT processes and their integration within enterprise HR systems

• The compensation range that is described below is the possible base pay compensation that the company believes in good faith that it will pay for this role at the time of posting based on job grade for the position. Individual compensation within this range is based on many factors such as years of experience etc. so the company might pay more or less than the posted range and it is understood that this range may be modified in the future.
• In addition to base compensation, MonoSol provides a yearly incentive compensation bonus, a profit sharing bonus when eligible, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurances, short term disability, long term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, term life insurance, voluntary term life insurance, transit flexible spending account (if applicable), employee assistance program, identity theft protection, 401k and paid time off (vacation and sick days).
Compensation range - $90,000.00 - $115,000.00
