Responsibilities
Octave is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Team. Based in the Eastern or Central US, the Mid-Market Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the mid-market segment. You will work closely with prospective clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Octave's QMS solution (formerly ETQ's solution) can help them achieve their business objectives.
  • Prospect, identify, and generate new business opportunities within the mid-market segment.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales development representatives (SDRs), and customer success teams to drive lead conversion and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and ETQ's product offerings.

Education / Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B software sales, preferably within SaaS, QMS, compliance, or related industries.
