Position Overview

We are seeking customer-focused individuals to join our team as Remote Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you will assist Michigan residents by providing information, support, and guidance regarding healthcare-related assistance programs. Representatives will help callers navigate online portals, answer program-related questions, and provide enrollment and support services.

This is a fully remote position requiring a dedicated, distraction-free workspace and reliable high-speed internet.

Schedule & Pay
  • Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Availability Required: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM for approximately 13 business days (subject to change)
Key Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound customer service calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers with navigating online portals and completing program-related processes.
  • Provide accurate information regarding available services and program requirements.
  • Document customer interactions and update records in computer systems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email when applicable.
  • Research and resolve routine customer concerns using available resources.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling customer information.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Must reside within the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum 35 WPM typing speed.
  • Ability to type accurately while speaking with customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clear and professional phone presence.
  • Comfortable using computers, multiple software applications, and dual monitors.
  • Customer service experience in a call center, retail, banking, healthcare, hospitality, or other customer-facing environment.
  • Flexible and dependable with work schedules.
Technical Requirements
  • High-speed internet with a minimum of:
    • 25 Mbps download speed
    • 10 Mbps upload speed
    • At least 30 GB of available data
    • 50 Mbps recommended for households sharing internet service
  • Dedicated, quiet, distraction-free workspace.
  • Smartphone or tablet available for work-related authentication or communication purposes.
  • Remote work is not a substitute for dependent care arrangements.
  • Ability to sign all required remote work agreements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
