About the role Role Overview As the AI GTM Specialist, Data & Analytics you will be the primary catalyst for driving Insight's Google Solution Line Data and Generative AI business through our partnership with Google Cloud. You aren't just selling a platform; you are architecting the future of enterprise intelligence. You will work hand-in-hand with Insight's sales account executives to hunt for new opportunities, design cutting-edge AI solutions, and demystify the power of Gemini and Vertex AI for C-suite stakeholders.

Your mission is to turn abstract AI potential into concrete, revenue-generating reality. Key Responsibilities Sales Enablement & Execution: Partner with Insight sales teams to identify and qualify high-value Data/AI opportunities within their existing customer base. Solution Architecting: Lead discovery workshops to design end-to-end data strategies, focusing on platforms like BigQuery for data warehousing and Vertex AI for model orchestration, and their integration into Gemini Enterprise.

GenAI Evangelism: Act as the subject matter expert on Gemini and Large Language Models (LLMs), helping customers move from "AI-curious" to "AI-first" through tailored Proofs of Concept (PoCs). GTM Strategy: Develop and execute a joint go-to-market plan with Insight field sales, including webinars, executive briefings, and industry-specific solution plays. Technical Bridge: Serve as the liaison between Insight's technical delivery teams and Google Cloud's internal product engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Core Competencies Area Focus Generative AI Deep understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and fine-tuning models within Vertex AI. Data Analytics Expertise in modernizing legacy data stacks into BigQuery, including Looker integration and data governance. Strategic Selling Ability to navigate "Value-Based Selling" rather than just feature-dumping; focusing on ROI and business outcomes.

Partner Ecosystem Understanding the nuances of working with a Global Systems Integrator (GSI) like Insight to drive "co-sell" motions. Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or digital transformation consulting. Domain Expertise: At least 5 years specifically focused on Data Engineering, Analytics, or Machine Learning.

Cloud Fluency: Proven track record with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly preferred. Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus, provided there is a willingness to master the Google stack immediately. The "Human" Factor: Exceptional presentation skills.

You can explain the difference between a vector database and a standard table to a CEO without making their eyes glaze over. Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, MBA, or equivalent practical experience in the field

What Success Looks Like in Year 1 Pipeline Growth: Scaling the Insight-led Data & AI pipeline by 30% through proactive engagement. Strategic Wins: Closing at least 3 "lighthouse" GenAI projects using Gemini that serve as case studies for the partnership. Certification: Becoming a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer (if not already held).
