This position is entirely remote, enabling you to provide telehealth services from the comfort of your home while still maintaining a professional work environment. You will utilize confidential secure platforms to conduct counseling sessions, manage notes, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clients' emotional and psychological needs, crafting detailed case histories from initial consultations to the conclusion of treatment.
• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans for clients that consider their unique circumstances, backgrounds, and objectives.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and individual counseling, helping clients process their experiences and develop coping strategies.
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, physicians, social workers, and nurses, to create comprehensive intervention plans.
• Manage referrals and follow up with healthcare professionals to coordinate client care, particularly for those who may require hospitalization.
• Educate and support family members in managing mental and behavioral challenges, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

The primary clients you will serve include individuals seeking support for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will work with various demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, emphasizing personalized care that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of each client.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a strong commitment to evidence-based practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document and manage client data.
• A solid understanding of various physical and emotional health conditions, including substance use disorders.

• Experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Knowledge of the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• In-depth experience with psychotropic medications and their effects in mental health treatment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to convey compassion and empathy in all interactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and members of the healthcare team.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a competitive sign-on bonus.
