Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately identify clients’ mental health concerns, including clinical diagnoses and effective treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other tailored approaches that align with clients' needs.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring they receive appropriate support and resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress updates, and assessment findings, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and mental health professionals to offer holistic and integrated care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges and treatment options, promoting resource accessibility within the community.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to remain current on best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at Forest View Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role is crucial in providing empathetic care that empowers clients to overcome obstacles and build resilience.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Mental Health Therapist, such as LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build therapeutic relationships.
• Capacity to work independently while collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient therapy is preferred but not obligatory for those who demonstrate a strong clinical orientation and a willingness to learn.
• Experience with various treatment methodologies, particularly those supported by current research.

Compensation and Benefits
