Job Summary

Provides senior level analysis for complex data to generate insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This role designs and delivers reporting, analytics, and data solutions across business and healthcare domains, including claims, utilization, and financial data. Partners with stakeholders to define requirements, develops scalable reporting and data processes, and applies advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and drive business performance. This role may lead projects, ensure data quality, and contribute to process improvements and standardization.

Job Duties

    Analyzes complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities. 
    Designs, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data solutions using tools such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Microsoft Excel, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). 
    Translates business needs into reporting and analytical requirements; partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. 
    Performs healthcare data analysis, including claims, pharmacy, lab, utilization, and cost data. 
    Develops and maintains data processes for extraction, transformation, validation, and integration. 
    Ensures data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through quality assurance and validation processes. 
    Creates forecasts, models, and recommendations based on statistical analysis and business context. 
    Leads or supports projects, including timeline management, requirements gathering, and deliverable execution.
    Documents methodologies, reporting processes, and business requirements. 
    Identifies and drives process improvements, standardization, and automation opportunities. 
    Presents findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams. 
    Supports regulatory, audit, and ad hoc data requests as needed.

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    At least 4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. 
    Strong experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), relational databases, and Microsoft Excel. 
    Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or similar). 
    Experience working with complex datasets;
    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Experience with healthcare analytics (e.g., claims, utilization, cost containment, medical economics).
    Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools and data visualization platforms. 
    Knowledge of statistical methods, predictive modeling, or forecasting techniques. 
    Experience leading projects or mentoring junior analysts.
    Familiarity with regulatory reporting and healthcare industry requirements.
