Reporting Analyst

Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid — mostly remote; onsite for key meetings/trainings as needed) Type: 12-month contract Schedule: 40 hours/week Pay (W2): $36/HR

About the role

We’re looking for a Reporting Analyst who enjoys turning raw data into clear, useful reporting that helps teams make better decisions. In this role, you’ll partner closely with stakeholders to understand what they need, build and refine reports, validate the data, and present insights in a way that makes sense to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear report requirements
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and turn findings into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Build, test, and refine reports based on feedback; ensure strong quality control and data validation
  • Communicate results clearly and obtain stakeholder sign-off before reports move into production
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and research moderately complex issues related to reporting needs
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and architects to align reporting with business and technical goals
  • Support requirements discussions, document changes, and help improve reporting processes (including SOPs)

  • Healthcare reporting, analytics experience and Cedar Gate
  • Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills
  • Ability to explain complex reports to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working directly with clients and account management teams
  • Strong problem-solving and data validation skills

Nice to have / additional qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) / data-related certification upon hire (as required for the role)

  • Strong communication (written/verbal), research, and investigative skills
