A Human Resources Generalist/Business Analyst role is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT 06095. A remote option may be considered for the right candidate. This is a full-time, direct position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have experience with employee relations, investigations, compliance, and HR operations. This role plays a critical part in mitigating organizational risk, maintaining compliance, and delivering exceptional employee experience.
Position Summary
The HR Generalist/Business Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to combine HR operational expertise with digital transformation, process improvement, and data analytics initiatives. This position serves as a key partner in driving operational excellence by ensuring HR data integrity, leveraging analytics to support informed decision-making, and identifying opportunities for continuous process enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Data Management & Process Improvement
* Partner with stakeholders to streamline HR and onboarding processes through automation and technology solutions.
* Manage client onboarding reference updates and maintain accurate and timely entry of customer and employee data.
* Identify and implement process improvements that enhance scalability, efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
* Ensure HR data, records, and reporting comply with company standards and applicable federal, state, and provincial regulations.
* Support internal and external audits through accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and proactive issue resolution.
Employee Relations & Investigations
* Partner with HR leadership to manage the full lifecycle of employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
* Conduct thorough fact-finding, documentation, tracking, and reporting of employee concerns and complaints.
* Ensure investigations are handled consistently, objectively, and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Provide recommendations to leadership to mitigate risk and support positive employee outcomes.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee matters.
HR Operations
* Execute core HR Generalist responsibilities, including employee support for both contractor and direct-hire employee populations.
* Assist with policy interpretation, compliance matters, and HR-related inquiries.
* Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that improve service delivery and employee experience.
Qualifications:
Education
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience
* 2-4 years of progressive experience in HR Generalist, Business Analyst, or related HR roles.
* Experience supporting a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
* Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters and investigations.
* *Exposure to contractor workforce management, staffing, or professional services environments is a plus.
Technical Skills
* Experience with HR systems, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $60,000-85,000, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
