Job description

About the Role:
As a CBRE Program Manager within Integrated Fleet Services (IFS), you will manage cross-functional pre-deployment and mobilization programs for our fleet program. Using a formal program-management process, you will coordinate the planning, readiness, and milestones required to bring the field workforce to a deployment-ready state, working closely with Field Service Managers and technicians throughout.
This role sits within the Program and Project Management vertical, not field operations. You partner closely with the field operations team and with the IFS fleet technology and analytics function, which builds and maintains the forecasting, scheduling, and reporting tools. You are accountable for program delivery and coordination rather than day-to-day field execution.
What You'll Do:
• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and program deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Work closely with Field Service Managers and technicians to coordinate pre-deployment readiness and mobilization milestones.
• Oversee cross-functional pre-deployment and mobilization programs from end to end using a formal process.
• Ensure that all functions remain on schedule and that any issues get escalated and resolved so the program gets completed on time.
• Manage internal and external relationships in support of programs.
• Work with core teams to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.
• Create and distribute routine PMO reports, including status reports, readiness tracking, and updated Gantt charts.
• Conduct financial or business evaluations.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain effective client relationships.
• Comprehend, evaluate, and interpret business documents.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of your own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You'll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PgMP or PMP certifications preferred.
• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Program or project management experience in a fleet, field-service, or logistics environment is a plus.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Familiarity with Smartsheet or a similar program-tracking tool is a plus.
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
