Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Technology Advisory Consulting Senior Manager to lead complex technology advisory engagements and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This role focuses on technology strategy, IT transformation, private equity advisory, and executive-level client leadership while contributing to the growth and development of the consulting practice.

Our Tech Advisory team supports clients across several core service offerings, including:

  • IT Due Diligence - Assessing IT environments, organizational structure, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and scalability for private equity transactions.
  • IT Strategy Roadmaps - Developing multi-year technology strategies aligned to business goals and operational priorities.
  • IT System Selection - Leading enterprise technology evaluations, vendor selection, and implementation planning.
  • IT PMO / Office of the CIO - Providing leadership and oversight for critical technology initiatives and transformation programs.
  • IT Mergers & Acquisitions - Supporting IT integration strategy and execution during mergers, acquisitions, and carve-outs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive stakeholders and clients
  • Lead and oversee multiple complex client engagements
  • Develop technology strategies, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps
  • Manage project delivery, risk mitigation, budgeting, and stakeholder communication
  • Lead IT due diligence and M&A integration engagements for private equity clients
  • Support business development, proposal efforts, and practice growth initiatives
  • Mentor and develop consulting team members
  • Present findings, recommendations, and executive updates to leadership teams
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and digital transformation trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8-10+ years of experience in technology consulting, IT advisory, digital transformation, or related services
  • Experience supporting private equity clients and leading complex technology initiatives
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and data analytics
  • Proven leadership, client relationship management, and business development experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project and program management capabilities
  • Experience with Manufacturing & Distribution clients is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, ITIL, COBIT, CISSP, AWS, Azure, etc.) are a plus
  • Hybrid or Remote work arrangement
  • 25-50% travel required

At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $152,200.00 - $251,400.00 per year.
