What is a Remote Cyber Underwriter?

A Remote Cyber Underwriter is an insurance professional who evaluates and assesses cyber risk for clients while working from a remote location. Their primary role is to analyze applications for cyber insurance, assess potential threats and vulnerabilities in clients' digital systems, and determine appropriate coverage terms and premiums. They also work closely with brokers, clients, and IT specialists to stay updated on emerging cyber risks and ensure that policies adequately protect against losses from cyberattacks. Working remotely allows them to serve clients across different regions and adapt to a flexible work environment.
