SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Cyber Hunt Senior Analyst to join our team supporting the Department of Education's (DoED) Federal Student Aid (FSA) Cybersecurity and Privacy Support Services (CPSS) in Washington, DC.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic oversight and technical leadership for threat hunting, CTI, and SOC analysts.
  • Advises on threat modeling, adversary emulation, and Purple Team exercises.
  • Supports inter-agency collaboration and national-level threat intelligence sharing.
  • Leads development of threat detection frameworks and analytics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity and threat intelligence.
  • Must have at least an active Secret clearance.
  • Deep knowledge of behavioral analytics, threat actor profiling, and detection engineering.
  • Experience with but not limited to MITRE ATT&CK, and CISA threat hunting guidance.
  • Strong communication to include writing skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
