Primary Responsibilities:

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Analyst with experience in federal contracts to join our team. The Cyber Security Analyst will focus on planning and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data from loss and service interruptions, especially related to federal guidelines like FedRamp. This role will involve analyzing and documenting security risks, breaches, and other cyber security incidents to develop and implement network disaster recovery plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing and operating security software and measures, including firewalls and data encryption programs, to safeguard systems and information infrastructure.

  • Plan and implement security measures to meet federal compliance and protect computer systems, networks, and data.
  • Analyze and document security risks, breaches, and cyber security incidents to understand their impact and improve security measures.
  • Develop and implement network disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Oversee the monitoring of computer networks for security issues and take proactive measures to address potential threats.
  • Install and operate security software and measures, including firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect systems and information infrastructure.
  • Stay informed about the latest security trends and guidelines, especially those relevant to federal contracts, and make recommendations to enhance security posture.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ year of Cyber Security experience.
  • Proven experience in Cyber Security, particularly in federal contract environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security best practices for federal compliance.
  • Experience with FedRamp and other relevant federal regulations.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, network protocols, and network security technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly valued.
