Overview

Cybersecurity Analyst โ€“ McLean, VA. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required. Bridge Core is seeking a skilled analyst to support government agencies in cyberspace.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working within a Cyber Incident Response Team, Security Operations Center, or a similar cybersecurity role. The position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. This position does require shift work, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

  • Utilize SIEM systems, network security tools, and log analysis tools to detect, analyze, and respond to security threats.
  • Apply knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Leverage the Mitre ATT&CK framework and best practices in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security incident response.
  • Resolve complex problems with analytical and problemโ€‘solving skills, paying close attention to detail.
  • Communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to nonโ€‘technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with required polygraph.
  • 1+ years of experience working within a Cyber Incident Response Team, Security Operations Center, or other cybersecurity position.
  • Experience with SIEM systems, network security tools, and log analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, incident detection, analysis, and response methodologies.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.
  • Knowledge of the Mitre ATT&CK framework.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IATโ€‘II certification within 6 months of starting the position.
