Job Title: Energy Efficiency Customer Care Agent

Job Description:
Our client, a leader in utility energy efficiency programs, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Care Agent to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support commercial and residential energy programs while providing excellent service to program participants. There are three (3) shifts for this position:

8:30am EST to 5:30pm EST

9:00am EST to 6:00pm EST

10:00am EST to 7:00pm EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process energy incentive applications, reviewing for eligibility.

  • Provide inbound and outbound support to applicants and program participants via phone and online chat

  • Perform back-office processing in support of utility clients and their customers

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and quality standards

  • Maintain confidentiality of client and customer information

  • Perform data-intensive tasks accurately while meeting deadlines

  • Adapt quickly to process changes and contribute to team problem-solving efforts

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail; ability to type 4550 WPM

  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal staff, clients, and vendors

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze situations and recommend solutions

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm for helping program participants

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Excel and database navigation skills are required
