This role requires strong writing skills, knowledge of instructional design principles, and familiarity with digital learning platforms. What does a remote curriculum writer do?

Remote curriculum writers develop and help implement new academic instructional materials, lessons, and activities for teachers to use in their classrooms or for online programs. While some educational organizations have curriculum writers on staff, remote curriculum writers work from home or another location outside of the office. Remote curriculum writers often work for public school districts, educational non-profits, and online educational start-ups. In this career, your job duties include determining the needs of the students and developing curriculum to meet those needs. You may also review the current materials and help to improve or change the instruction to better meet guidelines set by the company, school district, or state educational board.
