Job description

The Senior Manager, Lifecycle, Loyalty & Promotions Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving incremental revenue growth and increased member engagement for Marriott Bonvoy, the loyalty program of Marriott International, through strategic promotions and compelling marketing strategies. They will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing campaigns that drive engagement and loyalty throughout the customer lifecycle, maintaining a deep understanding of the customer at every stage of their journey to deliver products, promotions, and experiences that meet their needs and increase lifetime value. Key responsibilities include analyzing customer data to inform strategy and collaborating with cross-discipline teams to enable cohesive and effective global marketing initiatives, while optimizing the digital customer experience and supporting the enhancement of our promotions' capabilities, including technology, data, use of machine learning, and adaptation to emerging business needs through creative marketing solutions.

This role reports to the Director, Lifecycle; Loyalty & Promotions Marketing.  

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

 

Education and Experience Required 

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major  
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.  
  • Strong foundation with CRM/customer marketing program measurement, including audience segmentation, promotion development and management, and ROI analysis. 
  • Expertise in managing end-to-end marketing campaign development  
  • Knowledge of and experience with marketing technology (Martech) and promotion capabilities, with the ability to implement best practices in marketing promotions.  

Education and Experience Preferred 

  • Prior experience in marketing loyalty programs  

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES 

Marketing Campaigns & Promotions

  • Build campaigns aligned with lifecycle marketing strategies to drive member acquisition, engagement, retention and reactivation. 
  • Utilize consumers insights to inform loyalty marketing campaigns and promotions strategy development and execution.  
  • Support evolution and optimization of loyalty promotions with a focus on member expansion and engagement, taking into consideration changing requirements of emerging businesses and new offerings.  
  • Support projects and initiatives that enable enhanced member experiences and drive incremental revenue. 
  • Understand how broad and targeted promotions can support new and existing offerings and support growth of the promotions program.  
  • Demonstrate continuous innovation and improvement - e.g., integrate new offerings into promotions planning and execution, including promotions structures, marketing, digital experience, etc. 
  • Understand and report on campaign and promotion effectiveness for internal and external partners. 
  • Use reporting to identify opportunities and best practices, implementing to improve performance. 
  • Execute test and learn curriculum and analyses campaign performance to optimize results.  
  • Research industry and competitive marketplace for opportunities and improvements.
