About the role:

The Coronary Therapies Sales Trainer (Cardiology Training) develops and conducts Coronary Therapy (CT) clinical and product training for company personnel. This role monitors and evaluates employee product training needs to ensure the ongoing development of employees’ ability to meet customer and product technology demands. The trainer works closely with business partners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to plan and develop high-quality learning experiences that support business goals. This position is responsible for the development and delivery of training content and reports to the CT Sales Training Manager.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

This role is remote-based. Candidates must be able to travel to Maple Grove, Minnesota, for all required training sessions. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and conduct product training and education programs for company personnel that support area and company goals.

• Evaluate product training needs of company personnel by assessing employees’ knowledge, skills, and abilities against job requirements and identifying gaps where training is a solution to ensure ongoing development to meet customer and product technology demands. Make recommendations to sales management and Human Resources based on evaluation.

• Monitor training of company personnel by reviewing job requirements and other knowledge requirements as outlined in the Training Progression Guidelines (TPG) to ensure employees are properly trained in processes and procedures.

• Implement measurements to improve company personnel performance or enhance employee technical product knowledge in coordination with local mentors and leadership.

• Attend professional conferences to build networks of contacts, advance technical knowledge, and maintain professional expertise.

• Contribute to facilitating on-site courses in Maple Grove or other locations as dictated by the training plan.

• Conduct periodic field rides with field representatives to determine training needs and training effectiveness.

• Partner with Training Operations to develop and execute CT training curriculum.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of 4 years’ CT clinical work experience, including experience in IVUS, intravascular physiology, CTOs, and complex PCIs.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Self-starter with a clear focus on curriculum development.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and requests from a variety of stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote office environment.

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional travel requirement:

• Remote-based candidates must be able to travel to Minnesota for training sessions more than 30% of the time.
• If Minnesota-based, travel is expected up to 10%
