About the Role
Nao Now is looking for enthusiastic and engaging STEM educators to inspire the next generation of young learners.
This is a fully remote, part-time independent contractor position where you'll teach 1-on-1 English lessons to children ages 5-12 using our structured, interactive curriculum. We're looking for teachers who can naturally bring science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and critical thinking into classroom conversations.
If you have a background in STEM and enjoy making complex ideas simple and exciting for children, we'd love to hear from you.
No lesson planning is required. All curriculum and teaching materials are provided, allowing you to focus on delivering energetic, engaging lessons that build students' confidence in speaking English.
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach 25-minute, one-on-one online English lessons to children ages 5-12
  • Deliver engaging lessons using Nao Now's structured curriculum
  • Incorporate age-appropriate STEM concepts and real-world examples into classroom discussions when appropriate
  • Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and confident English communication
  • Create a fun, supportive, and interactive learning environment
  • Provide thoughtful lesson feedback after each class
  • Maintain a professional, energetic, and encouraging on-camera presence
  • Commit to a consistent weekly teaching schedule
Schedule Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 teaching hours per week
  • Available during peak teaching hours:
    • Monday-Friday
    • 5:30 PM-10:00 PM KST
  • Minimum 3-month commitment
  • Consistent weekly availability required
Compensation
  • Starting at $20 USD per hour
  • Paid per completed 25-minute lesson
  • Compensation based on qualifications, experience, and evaluation performance
  • All curriculum and teaching materials provided
  • No unpaid lesson planning required
  • Training and onboarding are unpaid
Required Qualifications
  • Native English speaker
  • Bachelor's degree or proof of current enrollment in a bachelor's program
  • Academic background in one or more of the following:
