As a remote healthcare provider, you will be part of a supportive virtual environment where collaboration and communication are paramount. Our clinic utilizes modern telehealth technologies, enabling you to connect with clients and colleagues seamlessly. The flexibility of remote work allows you to manage your schedule effectively while maintaining productivity and achieving weekly billing targets aligned with our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be tasked with various critical responsibilities, including:

• Assisting primary care providers in identifying and managing mental health and psychosocial issues through collaborative care approaches.
• Conducting thorough patient intakes that focus on diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, providing recommendations for treatment goals and plans.
• Delivering brief, focused interventions to patients in need of mental health support.
• Advising primary care providers on when to refer patients to specialty mental health services or other appropriate treatments.
• Initiating follow-up with patients to ensure their needs are met and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Developing and implementing relapse prevention strategies to support patients' stability and well-being.
• Monitoring and coordinating the delivery of behavioral health services across a network of providers to optimize patient care.
• Accurately documenting patient progress and clinical assessments within our electronic health record system.
• Educating patients on self-management skills and providing resources for their treatment and recovery.
• Consulting with clinic management and interdisciplinary team members about behavioral health services and program evaluation strategies.
• Supporting patient compliance with medical treatments prescribed by primary care providers, including managing medication side effects effectively.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals facing common mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Your guidance will contribute significantly to their emotional and psychological growth, fostering a stable and supportive environment to aid their recovery journey.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Georgia.
• Sound knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, and various therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to assess patients' needs accurately and develop tailored treatment interventions.
• Strong communication skills with the capability to build effective working relationships with clients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and preparing comprehensive reports.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, enhancing communication with a broader demographic of clients.
• Previous experience working within community health settings, particularly with FQHCs.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
