Location : Remote or Onsite - San Francisco, CA

About the Role
  • Client's Social Studio is seeking an experienced social media Project Manager that will support the execution of social content and creator activations, working in close partnership with Social Studio Strategy, Creative, Production, Brand, Legal, and Creator teams, as well as select agency and creator partners. This is a hands-on, in house role responsible for day to day project management, workflow coordination, and delivery of social-first content that meets brand, platform, and legal standards.
  • This role is ideal for a strong operator who brings structure to creative environments, manages multiple projects simultaneously, and ensures content is delivered on time, within scope, and at high quality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning and execution of social content and creator activations (i.e., Client's sponsorship of the FIFA World Cup, social reactive and always-on content) from kickoff through delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and task assignments in Wrike, ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
  • Define workflows, milestones, and dependencies at project kickoff.
  • Track progress, flag risks, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • Proactively identify project risks and support mitigation planning.
  • Manage post production calendars and review cycles to ensure timely, high quality content delivery.
  • Coordinate creative and legal review processes for social content, creator concepts, briefs, and assets.
  • Facilitate submissions to Legal and ensure timely feedback and resolution of compliance questions.
  • Manage internal and external approval workflows to support on time publishing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure all content adheres to brand, legal, and regulatory standards.
  • Share creative materials and assets with stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide clear, consistent project updates and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Act as a central point of coordination across internal teams and partners.
  • Identify opportunities to **improve project management processes** and implement efficiencies over time.
  • Educate partners on workflows, timelines, and platform or brand requirements as needed.
Qualifications
  • 6 years of experience in social program management, project management, or social production for a global brand, agency, or creator-focused team.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent social content projects across both tentpole and always on moments.
  • Strong understanding of cross functional roles and processes, including Creative, Strategy, Production, Legal, Media, and Creator Partnerships.
  • Fluency in deliverables and specifications for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other social platforms across organic and paid media.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, in house environments supporting creative teams.
