Position Summary
The Director, National Corporate Partnership promotes and sells media and sponsorships to major national accounts in all Life Time media and sponsorship formats, resulting in growth in revenue across all platforms. The purpose of this position is to drive sponsorship and advertising revenue for Life Time through development of strategic, enterprise-wide partnerships, while upholding our Healthy Way of Life mission.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell Life Time sponsorship and advertising products across the enterprise including but not limited to athletic country club sponsorships, athletic event sponsorships, OOH media, print media and digital advertising
  • Establish and maintain relationships with marketing decision makers for major brands and marketing agencies
  • Research and qualify leads (companies/people) and set up appointments in pursuit of new business
  • Manage client relationships and drive renewals for future marketing programs understanding clients' business priorities, timelines, and budgets to adapt past proposals and drive increased revenue
  • Compile industry and category research for the purposes of developing innovative marketing ideas to assist sales efforts and renewals
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments to create comprehensive packages for sponsors, while ensuring a high level of internal communication relative to sales activities
  • Understand partner brands and their competitors to develop solution-based integrated platforms to ensure partners achieve marketing objectives and ROI
  • Develop an in-depth understanding and adoption of Life Time's business objectives
  • Exhibit superior presentation, networking, negotiation and closing skills
  • Represent Life Time at key industry and Life Time-operated programs / events
  • Use CRM tools to maintain accurate reporting regarding sales, forecasting, and account maintenance

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or related field
  • 5 years or more media and/or sponsorship sales experience
  • Past experience making impactful presentations to senior executives
  • A proven track record of sales or business development success
  • Ability to travel 5%-10% for client meetings and to support sponsorship activations

  • Knowledge of marketing best practices and strategies
  • Experience building and presenting integrated sponsorship / media packages to partners

Pay
This is a salaried position starting at $70,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $97,000.00, based on experience, target sales quota and qualifications. In addition, this role is eligible for bonus and commission based on performance metrics.
