IT Project Manager - Global Cyber Security & Infrastructure
Location: 100% Remote within United States
Job Type: Contract with potential for contract-to-hire
Duration: 6-12+ months
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly adaptable, proactive IT Project Manager with a strong technical delivery background in Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination, execution, and completion of high-priority global enterprise projects. You will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, establish milestones, assign cross-functional responsibilities, and monitor progress to summarize performance for upper management.
This position is built for a self-motivated professional comfortable balancing 2 to 3 large-scale projects concurrently. Because this role interfaces with global infrastructure delivery teams based across multiple international time zones, candidates must possess excellent time flexibility to accommodate early morning or evening meetings as project cadences demand.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage 2 to 3 concurrent global enterprise IT projects within the cyber security and infrastructure domains.
  • Oversee work streams across major initiatives, which may include global data center technology refreshes, vulnerability management upgrades, conferencing hardware/software updates, and automated secure infrastructure rebuilds.
  • Set concrete deadlines, assign accountability across matrixed project teams, and drive delivery metrics.
  • Prepare regular project status summaries, risk registers, and milestone tracking reports for executive leadership and delivery owners.
  • Manage day-to-day work tasks utilizing Jira and support the organizational transition to Planview PPM software.
  • Rely on extensive professional experience and proactive judgment to plan, forecast, and accomplish strategic rollout goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 4 to 7+ years of dedicated experience in IT Project Management specifically driving infrastructure or cyber security implementations.
  • Technical Concepts: Solid baseline understanding of core enterprise infrastructure architecture and modern cyber security frameworks.
  • Tools: Proficient hands-on tracking experience using Jira for task management and project delivery workflows.
  • Global Delivery: Proven capability managing stakeholder relationships and driving delivery across multi-national/global time zones.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule (which may include a break in the middle of the day to account for split shifts supporting early morning or late evening project calls).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
  • Direct experience tracking or implementing Vulnerability Management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with automation projects related to secure cloud or physical infrastructure rebuilds.
  • Prior hands-on experience handling data center technology refresh cycles across multiple geographical sites.
  • Experience with or exposure to Planview PPM tools during an enterprise software transition.

  • Work Environment: 100% remote. Total weekly hours remain anchored to a standard workweek, with a strict focus on schedule flexibility rather than overtime.
