Are you ready for a role that lets you combine your project management, client service, and collaboration skills while making a meaningful impact? Do you want to channel your experience in direct response fundraising to help environmental, social justice, animal welfare, and cultural arts organizations connect with people who care about progressive causes?

As a Program Manager at Avalon, an award-winning full-service fundraising consulting agency, you\'ll partner with mission-driven organizations to help them meet their financial goals through strategic direct marketing fundraising campaigns. We are a remote workplace with team members working from home offices located across the United States. Occasional travel may be needed for client meetings, conferences, or team gatherings.

What Youโ€™ll Do with Us

  • Manage fundraising campaigns across multiple channels including direct mail, texting, and telemarketing.
  • Support campaign strategy development, including budgets, creative direction, segmentation, and production.
  • Draft campaign outlines, reports, and presentations, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients and production partners, ensuring campaigns run smoothly and on time.
  • Oversee copy, design, and production schedules, managing quality control.
  • Develop and oversee campaign support materials, ensuring costs, data, and invoicing are accurate.

Requirements

What Weโ€™re Looking For

We\'re seeking someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in direct response nonprofit fundraising. If you\'re an expert in Microsoft Office programs like SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and you have a proven track record of juggling multiple projects and deadlines with ease, you could be exactly who we need!

Our most successful Program Managers also bring these qualities to the table:

  • A strong desire to learn and the wisdom to know when to ask for help
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
  • Self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to take ownership of tasks with minimal oversight
  • Resourcefulness and a creative mindset
  • Top-notch teamwork and collaboration with clients, partners, and peers
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening and persuasive speaking
  • A cool head under pressure in a busy, agency environment
  • An ability to bring positivity and a lens of inclusivity to all of your interactions with colleagues.
