Job description

What are we building
Hard Rock Digital is a team focused on becoming the best online sportsbook, casino, and social casino company in the world. We're building a team passionate about learning, operating, and creating innovative products and technologies for millions of consumers. We care about each customer interaction, experience, behavior, and insight and strive to ensure we always act authentically.
Rooted in the kindred spirits of Hard Rock and the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Hard Rock Digital taps into a brand known worldwide as a leader in gaming, entertainment, and hospitality. We're bringing that legacy into the digital space - ready to join us?
What's the position?
As Creative Strategy Manager supporting Omni Creative, you'll sit at the intersection of data, strategy, and creative execution - providing guidance and recommendations on how the Hard Rock Bet brand comes to life across omni-channel marketing and ensuring creative placements drive results across Casino and Sports.
You'll be a senior individual contributor and the connective tissue between the creative team, agency partners, and Omni and Marketing stakeholders - providing clear strategic direction and brand guidance throughout the process from research and brief development through creative review, approval, and optimization. Your primary mission is to drive creative effectiveness across all omni-channel touchpoints by grounding every decision in insight and business goals, and building the systems that make great work possible at scale.
What You'll Do
  • Own how Hard Rock Bet's brand, promotional strategy, and creative campaigns are translated across omni-channel placements (digital, print, properties, and partners), ensuring every communication execution is intentional, cohesive, and tied to business goals across Casino and Sports.
  • Leverage market research to identify audience insights, competitive trends, and category opportunities that inform omni creative strategy across Casino and Sports.
  • Provide the creative team and agency partners with clear, insight-led direction by synthesizing data and research findings into actionable creative briefs, campaign strategies, and omni-channel marketing plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Omni and Marketing stakeholders on the brief development process, ensuring briefs are insight-led, clearly scoped, and set the creative team and agency partners up for success.
  • Establish and manage a testing and optimization framework for omni-channel creative, partnering with marketing and omni analytics to measure performance, identify learnings, and apply them to future work.
  • Serve as a senior strategic voice and primary point of collaboration between the creative team, internal stakeholders, and agency partners - providing direction and creative guidance, aligning on goals, managing feedback loops, and ensuring projects are on brief.
  • Own the review and approval process for all omni-channel creative work, ensuring every execution meets brand standards, strategic intent, and Omni team best practices before it goes live.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in digital marketing, iGaming, and sports betting to continuously evolve Hard Rock Bet's creative strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

About you:
You are more than a strategist - you are a systems thinker who understands that great creative starts long before anyone opens a design file. You are data-fluent, detail-oriented, and energized by turning research into direction. You thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at cross-functional collaboration, and take pride in building the frameworks that make creative teams and agency partners do their best work.
What are we looking for?
  • 6+ years of experience in creative strategy, brand strategy, or integrated marketing, with a strong focus on omni-channel campaigns.
  • Proven ability to conduct and synthesize market research and translate findings into compelling creative briefs and marketing plans.
  • Experience building and managing testing and optimization programs for creative across digital, social, and CRM channels.
  • Experienced in managing and directing OOH, digital and print creative - including signage, billboards, and direct mail - with a strong understanding of how brand and promotional messaging translates across large-format and physical touchpoints.
  • A track record of effective cross-functional collaboration - bridging creative teams, marketing stakeholders, and agency partners across complex, fast-moving projects, including providing strategic direction and constructive creative feedback to agency partners.
  • Strong background in managing creative review and approval workflows, with the ability to provide clear, strategic guidance that elevates the work.
  • Proven ability to bridge the analytical and creative - comfortable evaluating ad performance metrics and data insights while possessing a strong eye for design and copy that drives engagement.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite - a working knowledge of design fundamentals is essential for credible collaboration with creative teams and agency partners.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Monday.com or similar tools for managing workflows across cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable and curious with AI tools, with a willingness to integrate emerging technologies into research, briefing, and optimization workflows.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate strategic rationale clearly to both creative and business audiences.
  • Experience in brick and mortar and digital marketing within the Casino industry is a significant advantage.

What's in it for you?
We offer our employees more than just competitive compensation and benefits. Our team benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Remote or Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy the flexibility of remote work, with opportunities for in-person collaboration at our Austin headquarters at least twice a year, or a hybrid arrangement.
