Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at We Care Healthcare Center, where you can make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families seeking mental health support. This full-time role is primarily conducted through telehealth, accommodating the growing need for accessible mental health services. Your expertise will be vital in developing and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to clients’ unique situations, all while working remotely from the comfort of your home.

About the Organization

We Care Healthcare Center is dedicated to enhancing access to quality mental health care. Our commitment lies in creating a supportive environment that values autonomy, creativity, and compassion. Located in Tampa, Florida, our organization employs a diverse team focused on providing exceptional therapeutic services and bridging gaps in community mental health. We understand the importance of being adaptable as we grow, and we encourage our team members to bring their authentic selves to their work.

Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, reinforcing our commitment to flexibility and work-life balance. While you will work independently in your home office, you will also be part of a dynamic, tight-knit team that encourages collaboration and communication through virtual meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training sessions. The remote telehealth environment allows you to serve a wider client base, ensuring your services reach those who often face barriers to traditional therapy settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for mental health diagnoses, collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 25-30 client visits per week, offering a mix of individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Document clinical notes, treatment plan revisions, and assessments in accordance with company policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through empathetic communication, actively listening to client needs and adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Employ creative therapeutic techniques to facilitate client engagement and achievement of therapeutic goals.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, family members, and community resources to deliver holistic support to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your therapeutic practice will encompass a diverse demographic, including children, adolescents, couples, and families. Understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by these groups is essential in delivering effective mental health care. You will work with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma, among other issues, emphasizing a family systems perspective to therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Proven knowledge and skill in delivering family therapy services and utilizing community resources effectively.
  • Experience with thorough mental health documentation practices, including diagnostic assessments and treatment plan development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • The ability to establish and maintain appropriate client boundaries while fostering a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Experience working with a diverse array of clients, adaptable to varying cultural backgrounds and needs.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, couples, and families, particularly in a telehealth setting.
  • Familiarity with billing practices and fee collection during sessions.
  • Prior involvement in multidisciplinary team environments to enhance treatment outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Customizable compensation packages that include a wellness program and professional development opportunities.
  • Flexible scheduling that accommodates your personal needs and client preferences.
  • Paid supervision, case consultations, and documentation time to ensure compliance and support your professional growth.
  • Unlimited time-off policy, encompassing holidays, sick days, and vacation days, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive medical insurance and 401k plan options to secure your financial future.
  • Reimbursement for clinical license renewal expenses.
Career Growth Opportunities

At We Care Healthcare Center, we believe in fostering the professional development of our team members. You will have access to workshops, training programs, and networking opportunities, allowing you to enhance your skills and advance in your career. Through our supportive environment, you can explore leadership roles or specialized therapy tracks that align with your interests and skills.

Why Join Our Team
