​Position Overview​:
Intuitive is seeking a Contract Instructional Designer to join the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team. This role involves designing and developing next-generation supply chain training programs, supporting employee SAP and iValua learning initiatives for both internal employees and external supplier groups.
The Instructional Designer will design and develop web-based learning, instructor-led training, blended learning solutions, virtual classroom sessions, and supporting instructional materials. The role also supports the deployment of learning technologies, maintains training content across learning platforms, and partners with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create engaging, user-centered learning experiences aligned with Intuitive's brand standards.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for visual communication, instructional design, and learning technologies, capable of collaborating across teams while managing multiple projects.
​Primary Responsibilities​:
Instructional & Graphic Design​:

* Design and develop end-to-end curriculum and learning programs.
* Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify learning objectives and audience training needs.
* Apply end-user design methodology to ensure learner-centered program and tool development.
* Develop quick reference guides, interactive PDF documents, and other training materials.
* Create eLearning content using authoring tools.
* Produce facilitator guides and scripts for instructor-led and virtual classroom training.
* Edit presentation slide decks from facilitators and SMEs to improve design and consistency.
* Design online intranet websites using basic HTML and GUI interfaces.
* Deliver final print and video projects (e.g., .doc, .pdf, .mp4, .wmv).
* Ensure all designs adhere to Intuitive brand standards, including fonts, colors, and style guidelines.
​Technology Utilization​:
* Maintain intranet site content, online training content, and document libraries within the company's LMS and internal websites.
* Research, implement, and utilize learning technologies and software supporting Global Supply Chain programs and SAP S4 Transformation initiatives.
* Influence the development and effective use of virtual classroom learning technologies.
* Advise Global Supply Chain team members on learning technology best practices.
​Program Support​:
* Identify and apply measurement metrics to evaluate training effectiveness.
* Co-lead project management and rollout strategies for Global Supply Chain training initiatives, including video microlearning, eLearning modules, and mobile learning.
* Support virtual classroom training as both instructional designer and technical facilitator.
* Maintain training records within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
* Participate in LMS upgrades, customization efforts, and provide technical support.
* Stay current with emerging instructional design strategies and learning technologies.
* Partner with IT teams to support SAP S4 Transformation training initiatives across operations.
​Qualifications​:
Education & Experience​:

* Bachelor's degree with 5–10 years of related experience in instructional design, curriculum development, visual communication, graphic design, learning & development, software training development, organizational development, human-centered design, or education-focused roles.
* Master's degree in Instructional Design or Curriculum Development preferred.
* Flexible work location within the United States (remote, campus-based, or hybrid).
* Available for occasional evening and weekend support with prior notice.
* Willingness to travel up to 10% for company functions and off-site training events.
