We're hiring a Sourcing Category Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. This position is fully remote.
Primary Responsibilities- Direct and oversee the sourcing and procurement processes for the Construction/Building Products/Consumables across EquipmentShare
- Negotiate the best pricing and value for products and services in the most cost-effective and time-efficient manner
- Oversee and manage the creation of new and renewed vendor relationships and contracts
- Review product quality and effectiveness for EquipmentShare's needs
- Guide, mentor & develop team members and vendors to meet business goals and targets
- Evaluate product vendors and study market trends to identify the best vendor options and predict product availability
- Assist in the development of standards, processes and best practices for the Procurement department
- Communicate clearly and collaborate across team's organization-wide to achieve goals and establish transparent procurement processes
- Review current category services and products to identify areas of price reductions, efficient purchasing, improvements, etc.
- Build solid vendor relationships for common services across the category
- Collaborate and work with the organization's management during vendor evaluation and selection, as well as purchase contract negotiations and service level agreements
- Mine data to drive in depth analysis of category usage and spend.
