Position Overview


The CRM Specialist works under the direction of the Director, Growth & Revenue Marketing (AGS) and will build and execute Activate's CRM and lifecycle marketing program across corporate stores.

This role is accountable for converting customer data, campaign testing, and lifecycle strategy into measurable booking growth. The CRM Specialist will design and launch acquisition, retention, rebooking, and win-back journeys; manage audience segmentation in Braze; develop structured A/B tests; report on campaign performance; and provide recommendations to scale, revise, or pause campaigns based on results.


This job posting is for an existing vacancy. This is a full-time, permanent position.We are looking for this role to join our team at our Winnipeg corporate office, but remote out-of-province candidates may also be considered.


Responsibilities/Accountabilities


Building the CRM Program

  • Develop and maintain the CRM and lifecycle campaign framework for Activate corporate stores, including campaign types, target audiences, timing, and reporting requirements
  • Create acquisition, retention, rebooking, and win-back campaigns with defined objectives, audience criteria, messaging, launch timing, and success measures
  • Build and maintain audience segments, journey logic, frequency rules, and campaign workflows within the CRM platform
  • Track CRM campaign impact on bookings, rebookings, customer engagement, and store-level performance using agreed reporting measures
  • Document repeatable CRM processes, campaign briefs, testing procedures, and reporting templates to support consistent execution as the program scales

Campaign Execution & Testing

  • Build, launch, monitor, and optimize CRM campaigns across available channels, including email, SMS, push notifications, and other lifecycle touchpoints
  • Develop A/B testing plans that include the hypothesis, test audience, control group, variable being tested, measurement period, and success criteria
  • Prepare campaign performance summaries that identify results, insights, risks, and recommended next actions for each campaign or test
  • Partner with Growth & Revenue Marketing to translate commercial priorities, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and store needs into CRM campaign plans
  • Use AI tools to support campaign briefing, copy development, segmentation review, performance analysis, reporting, and workflow documentation


Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, or marketing automation
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform; Braze experience is considered an asset
  • Experience creating or improving customer journeys, audience segments, campaign workflows, retention campaigns, and performance reporting processes
  • Experience designing A/B tests, reviewing campaign results, identifying insights, and making data-informed recommendations
  • Comfortable creating structure, documentation, and repeatable workflows in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Able to convert customer insights and campaign data into clear recommendations that support bookings, retention, and rebooking goals
  • Experience using AI tools to support copy development, segmentation, reporting, analysis, or workflow efficiency
  • Strong written communication, organization, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is considered an asset
