Mile High Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position allows you to provide essential mental health services, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need for their recovery journey. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive suite of outpatient mental health services, including initial assessments and ongoing therapy, tailored to promote individualized recovery plans for each client.
  • Conduct intakes and facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to empower clients through their healing process.
  • Develop personalized service plans based on in-depth evaluations, regularly reviewing and updating these plans to reflect each client’s progress and changing needs.
  • Administer mental health assessments and provide counseling services, ensuring timely referrals and interventions as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation that adheres to federal, state, and organizational policies to facilitate optimal service delivery.
  • Prepare written reports for courts, schools, and community agencies to support client treatment plans and coordinate care.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding cases that involve hospital admissions to ensure continuity of care.
  • Build relationships with external psychiatric care providers and civic assistance programs to schedule necessary treatment sessions for clients requiring additional support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing routine mental health issues as well as those dealing with more serious mental health conditions. Qualifications
  • A valid and current practitioner license from the state's clinical therapy board is required.

Compensation and Benefits
