Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and evaluations to inform individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s specific goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions utilizing various evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing a range of techniques to address emotional distress, improve functioning, and promote personal development.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care across disciplines, participating in case consultations and treatment team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mile High Counseling Center, you will work with a varied clientele encompassing individuals experiencing short-term difficulties such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship conflicts. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical practice environment.
• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.
