• Conduct thorough assessments to gain an understanding of clients’ mental and emotional health, identifying strengths and challenges.
• Diagnose mental health disorders and relational issues, providing clarity and targeted interventions.
• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address emotional conflicts, behavioral difficulties, and relational hurdles through evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate communication within couples and families to promote healthier interactions and understanding.
• Guide clients through life's challenges with effective counseling strategies, assisting them in developing resilience and coping mechanisms.
• Provide conflict resolution strategies to enhance relationships and interpersonal dynamics.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client engagements, assessments, and treatment outcomes.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in documentation and clinical practice.
• Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and research findings.
• Advocate for client well-being, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are proactively addressed.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, assessing immediate safety concerns and developing action plans accordingly.

The clients you will be working with comprise a diverse demographic, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our focus is on fostering resilience and empowerment within families and couples, ensuring each client receives tailored support that resonates with their cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Current and valid LMFT licensure in California, indicating successful completion of required educational and examination requirements.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 1 year of practical experience in clinical settings, showcasing capability in individual, couples, and family therapy.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education initiatives.
• Possess specialization in key areas such as trauma, substance abuse, or couple dynamics would be highly beneficial.
• Experience with diverse client populations and proficiency in performing comprehensive clinical assessments.
• Ability to manage crisis situations effectively and provide clinical supervision where applicable.

• Experience conducting therapy sessions utilizing various modalities tailored to specific client needs.
• Hands-on experience in a remote or telehealth setting and comfort using digital tools and platforms for virtual therapy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
