• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, including couples and families, to identify their unique needs and effectively develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality counseling services utilizing evidence-based methodologies, ensuring each session is constructive and focused on clients' specific goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that not only address immediate concerns but also equip clients with skills to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and foster healthy relationships moving forward.
• Maintain comprehensive, timely documentation of client progress, including treatment goals, session notes, and other relevant records within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.

This role primarily focuses on working with couples and families experiencing a diverse range of emotional and relational challenges. Clients may be dealing with communication barriers, conflicts, life transitions, or mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Your expertise will be vital in creating a safe therapeutic space that encourages openness and personal growth.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is required to ensure you have the foundational knowledge necessary for practice.
• An active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is a must for this position, reflecting your credibility and qualification.
• Proficient experience working with couples and families, demonstrating your capacity to navigate complex dynamics and facilitate constructive conversations.
• Strong ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for establishing rapport with clients and other stakeholders.

• Experience working in a remote clinical setting is highly preferred, as it shows your adaptability and comfort with technology in delivering therapy.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), will be beneficial in providing quality care.
• A history of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
