Mind Discovery Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Telehealth Professional Counselor who holds an active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). This full-time, remote position is essential for providing mental health support to individuals in need of stabilization services, engaging with various community resources, and advocating for the rights and dignity of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and complete crisis alerts for coordination with county crisis services to ensure timely support for participants in distress.
  • Coordinate and document transitions for clients moving between hospital/inpatient services and outpatient care to ensure seamless continuity in their treatment.
  • Utilize crisis de-escalation techniques to effectively manage challenging situations, serving as the Clinician of the Day when necessary.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safety plans tailored to the unique circumstances and needs of each client.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation is completed on the same day for individuals at increased risk of crisis service interactions, upholding our commitment to best practices and regulatory compliance.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Telehealth Professional Counselor, your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will work with a diverse client base, including adults and teens, helping them navigate crises and connect with essential support services. Your expertise in establishing rapport and trust will be critical in fostering an environment where clients feel safe to discuss their concerns and work towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
