Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluate clients to develop targeted, individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Employ various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy as tailored to the clients' unique situations and needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to create a holistic and effective care environment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal obligations, ensuring confidentiality and quality care at all times.
• Engage in continuous professional development by keeping abreast of the latest research in mental health and participating in relevant workshops and training opportunities.

The clients you will serve encompass a rich diversity of backgrounds, presenting varied challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong competence in understanding and applying ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to foster rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with a team and effectively contribute to multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms, enabling seamless documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training in areas such as trauma, substance use disorders, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience conducting teletherapy or remote counseling is a strong plus, emphasizing adaptability to digital engagement platforms.

• Annual salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
