Role Description
As a Technical Consultant, your primary role will be to lead the design and implementation of software solutions that significantly improve client operations. In this position, you will be responsible for understanding client needs, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring successful deployment aligned with strategic objectives. Your ability to communicate effectively, solve problems proactively, and adapt to changing environments will be key to accelerating project delivery and enhancing client satisfaction. You will also cultivate strong relationships with clients, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous process improvements. This role requires a disciplined approach to project management, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in all initiatives.

• Travel globally to customer sites for the purpose of system integration, troubleshooting, and training

• Analytically savvy & data driven: Proficiency in utilizing data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive business strategies
• Disciplined execution: Detail-oriented and organized, this leader prioritizes effectively, excels at time management, and anticipates well in decision making
• Crisp communication: Clear and effective communicators capable of conveying information succinctly and clearly
• Portfolio knowledge: Understands our portfolio, its features, and capabilities; positions effectively with customers & prospects
• Requirements gathering: Gathers and analyzes requirements to inform system and process development
• Solution design: Designs solutions to address business needs and enhance operational efficiency
• Experience with server setup, TCP/IP configuration, IIS, web services and implementation and knowledge of Local Area Networks
Qualifications
• 3+ years hands-on experience working with, configuring, and deploying Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Prior knowledge of working with PINpoint MES is preferred
• Ability to read and work within XML files
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Stored Procedures
• Controls and automation programming
• Knowledge of PLC systems and be able to work with an OPC server
• Knowledge of PLC programming would be an asset
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including proper document structure, formatting, pivot tables and effective presentations
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Degree or equivalent certification or work experience in a technical discipline.
• Travel expected: up to 50%
• Must be able to travel globally
