Job description

LMS Administrator/Learning Project Manager
Engel & Völkers Americas Inc. and Engel & Völkers Canada Inc.
Engel & Völkers is a global luxury brand specializing in residential and commercial real estate & yachting. Founded in Hamburg, Germany in 1977, Engel & Völkers now includes over 1,000 brokerages in 35 countries across five continents. Engel & Völkers Americas supports a network
of premium residential real estate brokerages throughout many parts of North America, Central America and the Caribbean and is responsible for the firm's ongoing expansion in additional markets.
We are seeking a Senior LMS Administrator & Learning Project Manager who is responsible for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization's Learning Management System. An immediate focus of this role will be orchestrating, as a Project Manager, the LMS transition and content migration to a headless, API-driven infrastructure powered by Learning Pool.
This role serves as the ultimate bridge between learning strategy, technology, engineering, and program delivery, ensuring a seamless digital learner experience and building a scalable, future-proof infrastructure from the ground up.
The role provides a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by creating a stable, scalable online learning foundation and experience for our learners, fostering business growth and strong engagement.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Migration Orchestration

  • LMS Migration: Act as the primary project manager for the LMS migration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal L&D teams, engineering, product groups, and external vendor implementation managers to turn architectural concepts into working systems.
  • Content Audit Management: Lead comprehensive content audits and export mapping; collaborate with department owners to determine which assets to migrate, archive, or replace.
  • End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage traditional learning technology projects from initiation through implementation, tracking scope, risks, timelines, milestones, and documentation.

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee user management and digital learning inventory, including course assignments, learning paths, certifications, and learning catalogs, etc.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Provide tier-2/3 support to learners, managers, facilitators, and administrators across the organization.
  • System Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, compliance with organizational policies, and manage regular LMS upgrades and enhancement testing.
  • Documentation: Build and maintain clear visual maps of the system architecture and workflows to ensure sustainable long-term governance.
  • Digital Content: Support the development of digital learning content, primarily video editing and microlearning content
Technical Integration & Data Standards
  • System Interconnectivity: Serve as a technical translator between L&D and engineering, leveraging a comfortable understanding of APIs (REST/GraphQL), Webhooks, and Auth patterns to make systems "talk" to each other.
  • Data Stewardship: Guide the implementation of modern tracking standards (xAPI, cmi5, and SCORM) to ensure granular, high-fidelity reporting.
  • Enterprise Integrations: Manage connections between the learning ecosystem and other core business platforms (HRIS, CRM, reporting platforms).

Reporting, Analytics & Operations
  • Insights & Dashboards: Create and distribute LMS reports and executive dashboards monitoring completion rates, engagement, and compliance, leveraging insights to support ongoing strategy.
  • Program Logistics: Support learning launches, communication campaigns, registration workflows, and training calendars.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish QA processes for both learning content functionality and system stability.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Knowledge of Learning Pool and/or Headless LMS configurations.
  • Experience building custom data analytics dashboards.
  • Background supporting learning programs in a rapidly scaling, remote corporate environment.
  • Project Orchestration & Agility: Thrives in dynamic environments; can figure out complex technical "puzzles" without a rigid instruction manual.
  • Technical Bridge-Building: Speaks both "L&D" and "Engineering" fluently.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Translates raw completion data into actionable business insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures content models and data mapping are clean, reducing future technical debt.
  • Stakeholder Management: Seamlessly collaborates with stakeholders, instructional designers, subject matter experts, instructors, and software engineers.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent).
  • Experience with content authoring tools such as Articulate (Rise/Storyline), Scribe, or Elucidat
  • Knowledge of Learning Pool and/or Headless LMS configurations

At Engel & Völkers, we strive to build diverse teams and are committed to equal employment opportunity, welcoming and considering qualified applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, or any other group protected by law.
