• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions remotely, employing a diverse range of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and psychotherapy, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, continuously monitoring and adjusting these plans in response to client progress and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers within our group practice, contributing to comprehensive treatment approaches that consider all aspects of a client's well-being.
• Provide immediate support to families facing acute crises, including conflict resolution strategies and stabilization techniques, ensuring that clients receive timely guidance during challenging situations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions and treatment progress in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards.

As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor at Connections Counseling Services, LLC, you will primarily work with a diverse population of children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings and work towards healing and growth.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active and valid state license in Washington (LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting, specifically working with children and families, is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds, exhibiting strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology to support efficient virtual therapy sessions.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management, particularly with families in acute emotional distress.
